5 ASU jobs you should know about

Many students look for on-campus jobs during college. While every job has some exciting aspects, we found a few ASU positions that sound just plain fun. Make the most of your part-time position by applying to work at one of these interesting on-campus gigs.
Group fitness instructor
If you’re in the gym all the time or swear by at-home workout videos, this is the perfect position for you. Be a part of the Sun Devil Fitness Complex by leading group wellness classes for students both in person and remotely. Instructors need to be high-energy and ready to lead classes like HIIT, yoga, Stomp! and more. Don’t forget to bring your water bottle to work.
First-Year Success coach
This one is for upperclassmen only — but it’s definitely worth checking out for the future. You can use your experiences (plus your multi-day training) to help first-year, second-year and transfer students succeed in college. You'll be the go-to for things like academic support, forming good study habits, finding ASU resources and more. If you have questions about being a success coach, reach out to the Adulting Ambassadors (they’re all current coaches!) and are happy to answer any questions you may have.
Change agent
Inspire students to create change in their communities as a part of Changemaker Central on your campus. You’ll be a part of creating and executing Changemaker events and programs throughout the year, facilitating the Changemaker Spaces community and helping students find opportunities that match their interests.
TV production assistant
Join the team of Arizona Horizon, part of Arizona PBS and the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism. In this position you’ll be producing a real television show, and will even be doing some on-camera reporting as well as coordinating students, planning and coordinating the show.
Staff writer, The State Press
Writers are wanted at ASU’s award-winning multimedia news organization, The State Press. Be part of the magazine and online presence of The State Press, and be on the front lines of what’s going on at ASU and in the community. Plus, this is a great way to start getting your byline noticed.
